Day 13: School day 4 + BRAAI 18-02-2013
Today we had to go to school again. We had to pray in class. We had the whole afternoon for ourselves, so we walked a little part and played a game of cards. It was very nice. At 8 o’clock the Braai started first our buddies got something to eat. After the diner our buddies sang for us, was very impressive.
Day 14 Primary School 19-02-2013
We had to be at 8 o’clock at the primary school to give our mini lesson. We have chosen graad 7. We asked them to say who they are and how old they were. Some of them were 16. They were even older as me and were 3 or 4 class levels lower as me. This was very strange. The lesson first went a little bit difficult but later on it went easier. All the little children wanted to have a picture with us. I talked with someone of the school and he said drugs and alcohol were big problem in the society in South Africa. This happened through people who paid the African people with dozens of wine and a little bit of money. When we were back in the hostel I packed my suitcase sop didn’t have to do it in the morning the next day. In the afternoon we had to follow one more lesson the teacher never showed up. After this we had to go to the assembly hall. Here they said goodbye to us with some speeches. This was very impressive I even got goose bumps. They sang the Emil Weder song, this is a nice song and impressive.
Day 15/16: Back to Holland 20-02-2013/21-02-2013
These two days we were flying back to Holland again. First we had to go to Dubai. This was again very nice because we had to go from one place to another gate with a small train. And this all in an airport, it’s insane.
When we came back in Holland our parents were waiting and we were all happy to see them again and to be home of course. We said goodbye and went home.
